Stephen Colbert's Aramaic Antics on Twitter

Interesting tweet came in over Twitter today.

From StephenAtHome (i.e Stephen Colbert):

Sometimes I wonder, "what would Jesus tweet?" But you can't say much with 140 characters of Aramaic

It's been re-tweeted hundreds of times, clogging my normal searches for Aramaic. :-)

My reply?

@StephenAtHome -- Re:140 characters of Aramaic -> מא צבי את מימר -- "ma çabey at memar?" -- "What do you want to say?"

Peace,
-Steve

Hehe that's what happens when you start saying say מנא and change your mind when working in TweetDeck. ;-)

The Unicode support is horrible. :-P Fixed.

And "saying say" is what you apparently get when you try and use an iPhone to type in English. :-)

@LimeChip

Right now, I'm actually pondering how to render "truthiness" in Old Galilean. :-)

i'm sure that's enough words for Jesus to blast the church, invite the sinners, and glorify God. probably all in a short parable or something, too.
